Word of the week 5

Declamatory
Source: Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Thomas Hardy

Sentence: "This fixed idea of the rhapsodist was delivered with animated enthusiasm, in a manner
entirely declamatory, for he had plainly had no skill as a dialectician"

Definition: Merely oratorical or rhetorical; stilted.

My sentence: The Instructor motivated and inspired her students but in a declamatory manner.
